Computer specs?

Anyone out there know of any kind of database of specs for older laptops? Something like everymac.com for the pc?

u can always try to look up the FCC ID and find the manufacturer. than hope to dig up something about the laptop on their site.

I have a HP omnibook 5500, and I know all of the base specs (speed, memory, video), but I was looking for the complete specs on the system. At some point I had the link on HP's website, but I can't find it for the life of me. Also, there are some other laptop parts laying around that I might try to frankenstein together, so the database would help out (if it even exists)
