Computer Speakers + DVD Player = Go or No Go????

I was wondering if you could hook up computer speakers to a DVD player and if you could what kinda jacks do I need or do I need to run it through my sound card? Thanks

I am assuming you are talking about a stand alone dvd player

Yes you can,
You would need to find an RCA adapter.

It probably wouldnt sound to good, but if thats what you wabnt.

Altec Lansing ADA880's or 890's can hook up to a DVD Player via SPIDF, and they are THX Certified. You can get the Discontinued 880's being replaced by the 890's from www.compucare.com for $150.

I already have ALTEC LANSING ACS54 and was wondering if I could hook them up to my DVD player and get a little better sound than just the TV speakers.

I went to Radio Shack today and got a hook up that worked it sounds pretty decent now I just have to figure out where to put my speakers.
