Out of these 3x speakers, what would you recommend? I will be wall mounting these in my computer room and will play occasional games and music ...... cd's/mp3's.
They'll be running through a cheapy Sony Reciever but it's not like I'm going to be pushing my Polk rti 12's **LOL** I may add a sub later, then again, I may not.

Polk Rti 4's (($260.00))
Polk Monitor 30's (($200.00))
Infinity Primus 150's (($180.00)) These are the only ones that come with the wall mounting bracket I need without purchasing one seperate.

COMPARISON between the three

I would probably suggest the Infinity Primus, they are well-received for near-field (<6 feet) and uses a few treble peaks to present detail better, which always helps with "PC source" sounds.

Primus 150s are a cleaner speaker (less resonance/color, doesn't keep playing after the signal has ended as much--although it does have one major resonance peak) and the FR response looks a bit more optimal. Lacking the ability to audition, I would probably pick the IF150 over the Polks.

EDIT: DAMMIT I WISH ANANDTECH COULD HOST IMAGES!

Do you have a circuit city near you?

They carry Infinity and Polk.
On their website they show Primus 150s and Monitor 30s as options.

It's coming down to whatever I can mount on the wall with a "positional" bracket. One that can be aimed down toward the center of my computer desk/listening position. Yes, the 150's come with a "so called bracket" but only for flat wall mounting.

I do have a Circuit City near me (60 miles out) but depending on price, I may order them online from a reputable dealer.
I've emailed Infinity (parts) about the bracket but it's been over a week with no response. I emailed tech support about 5min ago, so we'll see.

Anyone know of a decent position bracket for the Infinity Primus 150's that won't cost $80.00++ ?? (Link would be great)

Thanks again................ Sorry for the delay on posting back. Just recently moved to TN from FL. I'm laying on the floor with two pillows typing this message **LOL** Got my Comp. chair yesterday and my desk is coming later today, speakers are next ;)

I will say that I thoroughly enjoy my Primus 150s. Bought them last fall and used them in the dorm room. Everyone in the suite loved the SQ, and for the money, they are hard to beat. I had them mounted with just a couple of screws into the wall (there was a wooden board on the wall I put the screws into).

Depends on what kind of sound you prefer. The Primus 150s (at least to my ears) sound a bit warmer, and have smoother midrange. The Polks have slightly better detail and highs. DaJello is right: stop by your local Circuit City. :)
