Computer Speaker/sound monitor reccomendations

I just bought a Digitech Mbox2 with Protools, and i plan on doing some music recording on my PC. I'm looking for a good set of speakers/sound monitors. I would like a good 2.1 or even 2.0 system that can put out a nice clean stereo sound. I'd like to spend under $300 if possible.

I've looked at Maudio, Alesis and Mackie, but i dont have much experience with these. I've heard Logitech makes a good sound system. They also have Bose systems that look nice but pricey. Any reccomendations for music sound production?

While I don't have any personal experience with them I've heard very good things about the Swan M200 speakers. I used a set of MAudio BX-8s. Good price for a small pair of near-field monitors. They paired up well with a 2496 card.

I then upgraded to a set of Mackie HR824s with a 1010 card/rack unit.
