Simply shuts down. I tracked the temperature and the processor is only at 36 celcius when it is hutting down. Should I check Ram next or update the BIOS???
I work with the ASRock K7S41GX a lot, so yes, update the BIOS ( I think they ship with a version 02. and 07 is the newest), and make sure you set the jumpers on the motherboard to run at 166 FSB, like shown in the manual.
They dont have a windows flash utility, download their utility and the .bin file.
When booted from the diskette, type asflash (or something like that, the flash utilities name) followed by the .bin files name and it will do its work.
