I brought the computer to a local store and they couldn't find the problem. the computer shuts off, not restart, shuts off, without any stuttering or blue screen.

this happens only when I'm playing heavy graphics games.

I have e8500
gtx 280
asus p5n-t deluxe
windows 7 64bit

help??

-thanks

A GeForce GTX 280 requires you to have a 550 Watt power supply unit at minimum if you use it in a high-end system.

Well, straight up shutdowns are usually power or overheat problems. If you can run any of the games in windowed with CPU and GPU temp monitoring programs visible in the background and watch those that is an easy start. Please post the PSU model. GL!
