Hi,

I purchased a new system of below configurations a year ago. It was working perfectly till few months ago. System shuts down automatically and doesn't turn on. I need to switch off the electrical supply wait for few seconds and then need to turn it on for switching on the sytesm. I have not overclocked the cpu. When i checked with my dealer. He advised to go for replacement. Replacement done for my motherboard and cpu but issue still remains the same. I am using stock cooler. Please help me out.

Configurations:
CPU: FX8350
Ram: transcend JM1600KLH-8G
Motherboard: GA-78LMT-USB3

Idle temperature is around 28c - 45celsius.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I would guess the problem is your PSU failing.

When the computer shuts down, does it become a blue screen or instant "off"? What does Windows event log say, is there some clues there?

I had a similar problem two weeks ago. Changing PSU fixed it :)

Dust implies overheating. His idle temps at 45C are kind of high, but not high enough to cause a shutdown. It would be helpful if he'd monitor temps on a test run to see how hot it gets before shutdown. It'd also help if OP would try running a stress test immediately after boot to see if that'll provoke a faster shutdown (again monitoring for temps).

Regardless, replacement implies a completely new HSF remount, which would eliminate dust in the short term.

But yeah sounds more like a PSU issue from where I'm sitting.
