Well since I was going to reformat my computer anyway, I took this as a sign to upgrade.
DFI Lanparty nF3 250GB
AMD Athlon 64 3700+
2gigs ram
2x300 gig 16 meg cache Maxtor sata in raid0

So far WU's are being done in an hour and a half each.

I have not even overclocked this yet (well 10MHz on the fsb at the moment). So far this thing is screaming along pretty good.

It has been long enough since my last system build that I do not know where to find anymore the webpage that I can enter in my chips numbers and it will tell me what other people are achieving on their overclocks, does anyone know where I can find that?

I can't wait to get everything loaded and working right, and then overclock the poop out of it. I need to get my backup program working first though. Going with raid0 on the primary drive is a little scary!

I must upgrade. My little heard has been off because of the noise level. I have to upgrade quality over quantity.

Anyone interested in some very veteran xp crunchers? :)

The default speed is 2.4GHz and it is a socket 754. I got it from here http://www.ewiz.com/detail.php?name=A64-3700 I am very happy with it so far and am looking forward to tweaking it and knocking some more time off the WU's....

1MB L2 cache ,nice! :)
So if I've got it right your on a x12 multi ,with 210 FSB that's 2.52 GHz ,that's the exact same clock speed as my CPU ,only mine's an XPM on a 180MHz FSB & it 'only' has 512KB L2 ;).
Anyway mine does WUs in 2.05hrs , so with yours at 1.5hrs its about 25% faster ,which tallies up nicely with Ath 64s being about 25% faster than XPs ;)

Nice system MoFunk. I also run dual 300's on Raid 0. I just backup anything important to a second computer.

Since the upgrade here are my stats, this is at 12*215 I just now went to 10.5*230, I am not concerned with GHz, I just want speed! See how this does.
