Might try to record something soon. I should have my new rig before the 4th, maybe I'll record Lost! What size does a usual 1 hour program come out to?

1 hour at best quality takes up about 3GB using Vista's Media Center. I have a 200GB drive dedicated to TV recording and media center says it'll hold about 55.5 hours.

Is that program available in Media Center Edition? I would assume so, since it says Media Center at the top. :laugh:

Or, is there a similar application for Linux?

Well I am using Windows Vista, and Media Center is built in. I'd assume that XP MCE is similar.
 
i still have many episodes of prison break to watch.. my PVR has been recording these things.. and Lost is set to record. 🙂
 
i should put my tv tuner in my desktop with my new 400 gb drive and give it a whirl

unfortunately i don't have hd 🙁
