computer screen goes off on off on without power loss and crash, eventually 5 minutes. blue screen comes crashes. If I reset my Video card, each time I get this problem ( and this is getting very tiresome) it rebooted did a few "off &on" cycles, especially when I move my mouse. And then stays on much longer before a crash.
This gradually got worse after a week of use. I just had Asus replace my RMA motherboard with k8n4e-deluxe. I could not use my old AGP ATI AIW 9800 Pro video card and had to get new video card . MSI NX7300 LE Gforce.
I only have 2 hard drives and a DVD burner, with an Antec Blue 480 Watt power supply. ( I have no other cards in the computer)
I googled this problem and found quite a few others have had "off and on" cycles repeating over and over but here is the odd thing, the person with whom I was sharing my web-cam streaming, reported no "on & off" IMAGES FROM ME, SO THIS IS PURELY, a monitor video supply and the crashes that follow with blue screens , most often begin on a fresh boot early mornings. After 3 or 4 crashes reboots and tweaking the video card by pushing it in it eventually lets me compute without screen on off and I am tying this bravely to you on this computer hope it does not crash
My bigger problem is going to be to convince NewEgg the reseller of the card, to take it back and replace it. Asus took near 40 days to put the This mother board in my hands, after 13 days from shipping it to them they told me they would send another Motherboard. this took 27 days to arrive from that day.
On that 13th day I ordered the video card from New Egg. 5 days later I had my video card and sat waiting for 22 days for the Asus Motherboard. the problems did not begin till about 10 days into using it, so by now I have had my video card for 32 days and still searching all over the net what my problem could be.
Today I most likely have had the card close to 40 days.
I have at least 2 Questions:
1. anyone had this problem, and found the source?
2. If I am 5to believe what I read on the net, that it is a video Card problem, and since Asus can confirm when I received their board, will NewEgg just tell me to go see MSI about it, or help me out? I have had few dealings with NewEgg.
