I got a chaintech znf-150, athlon 64 3400+ @ 2.31 gigaherz, asus radeon 9800 pro 256 meg ver. @398/728, corsair xms pro @ 2.5-3-3-8. I'm running 4.5 cats and all over drivers are up to date but I can't run far cry with max settings at 1028x768. I need to set af to 1 and aa to medium to get it to run smoothly. Is this normal or is something killing my speed?

umm, dont expect smooth framerates with EVERYTHING turned up. especially when you've got aa/af turned on, those results don't seem suprising.

the aa/af are hurting you most.

What's truform?

drivers:
nf3_win2kxp_265
This nForce Win2K/XP driver package contains the below components:

Audio driver 3.62 (WHQL)
Ethernet driver 3.46 (WHQL)
GART driver 3.34 (WHQL)
SMBus driver 3.38 (WHQL)
IDE driver (In-the-box) 3.43 (WHQL)
IDE 2.0 driver 3.66
Installer 3.66

I'm pretty certain I don't have spyware that's affecting performance greatly I had my comp pretty clean when I first installed although I haven't done anything to clean it lately.
