I wasn't sure where to post this but this seems like the best area for it. It pertains to the CPU so here's the riddle/question:
Running the exact SiSoft Sandra CPU Benchmark test at two different FSB (147 vs. 133), where the increase in MHz is 10.5%, how come the scores represent only a 10.2% increase?
Additional Questions:
Is the 0.3% within tolerance of the tests?
Why is the increase in scores not 1:1 to MHz?

Test was carried out in a scientific matter where as many variables were eliminated from the test.

I'm interested to hear what other people think about this. Throw out any and all ideas. I may amend this message later with more information if it is necessary.

One possibility is the fact the FSB fluctuates slightly. Your .3% might account for that.

the hard drive might not miss a clock cycle if its "optimized" for a 33mhz pci? (wild guess). Something must be affected by the non-standard clock. Of course, with .3%, even moving hte mouse or incoming/outgoing network traffic would have such an effect.
