Computer reboots...need help

Hey guys i just put together the following system:
MSI K7N2G-L nforce 2 mobo w/ onboard graphics.
The system has rebooted itself on two occasions.
One i was watching a divx, behind enemy lines and 5 mins into the film the computer rebooted. So i thought i'd try 3dmark2001se...like 4 secs into the benchmark it restarted itself again. Same w/ CS, it froze when i got into the game. I have 256mb of pc2700 ram running on it (but it only shows 224...why?). I had 512 but 1 stick was defective in that it was causing the comp to hang.
TIA

CPU temps via bios is 35 celsius (high imo right?). CPU is the stock amd one and PSU is some generic pos that came w/ the case. Think this could be it? It seems to be all video related

Why dont you trying turning down the speed of your memory -

MY last build I bought PNY 2700 ram which would not run at 333 - the system kept shutting down automatically - I turned it down to 300 mhz (150 bus) and it works fine now - MY first bad experience with ram not running at advertised speeds.

I figured out the problem, it's the ram. What i did was take a stick of 256 PC2100 from my computer and shoved it into the new computer. Now the new one runs 3dmark2001se fine. Spectek ram sucks 🙂. Gonna go back to the comp place tommorow and trade for some better ram. Infineon/samsung/micron are all good right? My own comp has micron.

yup, thats what my PNY was - Spectek - Never again!!

Also, the system is showing 224Mb of RAM because 32Mb of it is being used for your onboard video. 🙂
