Question Computer rebooting

Computer keeps rebooting when playing witches & destiny. Am running Ryzon 5 3600 with 16gb ram and radeon rx5700xt.

Could be cpu is overheating if your fan is defective or not installed correctly; could also be bad memory.

Thanks everybody. The case is a Fractual Meshify c & only has 2 fans 1 front & 1 rear, will add another 2 & see if that helps. No problem playing racing games.

I'd run a session of Prime95 to check system temps. If that doesn't show a problem, follow it up with a session of Furmark to check GPU temps. In all likelihood, one of them will cause the system to crash if it is a temperature issue.

Are you overclocking? What are the specific components that make up your system?

No i'm not overclocking. Every thing is straight out of the box.
My system is
MSI B450 -A Pro Max motherboard.
Ryzen 5 3600 CPU.
2 X 8g Corsair Ryzen ram.
Sapphire Radeon RX 5700 XT GPU.
80+ gold 650W PSU.
Added another case fan yesterday as case only had 1 front and 1 back.

Again have you checked if the cpu fan is working correctly and have you checked for parity errors with prime95 ? Why did you add a case fan ? Did you run a program that checked components temp. to see if such was needed ?

I've installed prime95 & AMD Ryzen Master Utility the temp is running between 88 & 92 degrees with only thoose 2 programs running. The program says max is 95 degrees.

Which prime95 test are you running ? That is very close to auto-shutdown of the cpu; and i strongly suspect your cpu fan is not installed correctly or is not running.

Couple of other things you can check - what is the cpu temp before you run prime95; also you could check if the bios is overclocking the cpu (yes you said you were not but some motherboards will overclock by default to make it appear they are efficient relative to the competition).

I installed the fan as per instruction. Lined up the arrow and tightened as was instructed. The fan is working. I have ordered another fan to replace the one that came with the Ryzen.

What sometimes happen is the fan doesn't make good contact with the thermal paste. You should check your idle temp before ording more stuff. Also you can try re-seating the fan if that is a thermal issue.

You are throwing money at the problem but you haven't actually identified the issue yet.

I installed the fan as per instruction. Lined up the arrow and tightened as was instructed. The fan is working. I have ordered another fan to replace the one that came with the Ryzen.

The additional case fan seems to have fixed the problem as I have not had any problems since installing it. The after market fan will be delivered today and I will fit it also.
My temps as shown with AMD Master utility are at idle 37 to 40 degrees, watching Youtube 44 to 45 degrees and playing Darksiders 57 degrees.
