I know you don't care, but I need to vent.
Today I sold off my dual XP rig so that I could make some CC payments. Well that leaves me with my TBred 1700+ machine which I will now make my main rig. Originally it was hooked up to a 15" Dell LCD (non DVI) which I also sold. So I hook up the TBred rig to my 18" Dell LCD through DVI. Turns out the damn video card DVI spot is shot. It will only run DVI at 640X480.
Needless to say I am pissed right now. I just got this Visiontek Ti500 in a trade which I sent off my Radeon 8500. From day one, I had nothing but problems since the heatsink clips were broken. I reinstalled the video card heatsink and all was fine. Of course all was fine until I tried using the DVI connector.
I was hoping to having some money to make CC payments and add to savings, but now I am computer less and won't have one until I buy a new video card.
The past three trades I have carried out have been nothing but bad luck for me. :disgust:
