So this morning, I turned on my computer, and then a few minutes later, it just switched off. Anyway, this has happened for the past 2 days as well, and to turn it back on, I have to unplug the power(?) (at least thats what I think it is) and wait for this sound (one of those sounds you here when you like turn on your television), replug, and then I can turn it on.
So what is the problem with my computer?
Thanks for the help, and if any other details that are needed just post them here and I'll give them as required. I've had this computer for around 6 years I think, it just needs to last around half a year more before my exams are finished and I can smash it to pieces if I wanted to =(
EDIT:
Processor - P4 1.5GHz
Motherboard - Gigabyte 8TX-C
Memory - 2x128MB Samsung RDRAM PC800
Video Card - Geforce 4 Ti4200
PSU - NFI (I'll open up my case and see if i can find out a bit later)
It's winter here in Aus, and it's bloody cold so I don't think it's overheating =]
