Computer randomly shuts off. Windows XP problem?

Upon turning my computer back on, I get these error messages:

Any ideas on what's wrong? Is it a hardwarwe issue of a software problem?

BTW: It's happened twice so far.

AMD 3200+
Asus A8V Deluxe
1 GB Corsair Value Ram
ATI AIW 9600 Pro

Since he has already booted back into windows last known good wouldnt help. And you're assuming he has changed drivers (which there was no mention of).

Have you tried running any hardware diagnostics/benchmarks yet? If it's a hardware problem you may be able to detect it by running such applications.

The pictures you've posted just tell us that it had a stop error, but doesnt give any information why it stopped.

Right click 'My Computer', choose 'Properties', switch to the 'Advanced Tab', click the 'Settings' button on the 'Start Up and Recovery' section, then uncheck 'Automatically Restart'. That should allow you to view the error before the system reboots.
