Just recently my computer has been shutting down for no apparent reason it isn't freezing or anything just shutting off and when i go to turn it back on it doesn't turn on.. i have to go in the back of the computer switch off the power supply and turn it back on where the secondary fan is. Even then sometimes it doesn't come on i like i hear it powering up but the monitor doesn't come on then i turn it off again and flip the switch in the back off then on then the screen comes on and it boots up fine.. then after about 5 minutes it just shuts down randomly i was thinking it was overheating so i opened up the case and it seems really cool i am running an amd 900 on a abit kt7 raid mobo. 512 ram geforce 2 mx . i figured i would come to the experts before i spent 60 bucks for some lameo to tell me to get a new computer thanks guys

It's most likley 1) overheating. Check that that power supply fan works and any and all fans in your computer works. 2) a wire could be shorting the power supply, that's why you have to switch the power supply off to reset. Check all power cables in the computer. 3) bad power supply.
