Question Computer randomly restarts

So I am having a random reboot issue with my system. There doesn't seem to be any consistent cause but it will just suddenly power off and then restart. You can hear the fans start to spin down before everything fires back up again on its own a second later.

Could it be a bad PSU? Its a 600 watt 80 plus. (i7-8700k and a 1070 Ti)

I almost just went ahead and bought a new PSU but figured I would get thoughts here first.

It's tough to know for sure without testing everything, but if I was in the same situation, a new PSU would be the route I'd try out first.

I also forgot to add, you might want to step up to a gold rated PSU with at least a 5 year warranty (some go up to a 12 year warranty). They tend to use much better components (better fan, better capacitors, etc.), so they should last longer than your current unit did. Most likely the unit you currently had was a no-frills unit with a 1-2 year warranty.
