The system is:

AMD X2 3800+
Asus A8N-SLi Premium
2GB Kingston HyperX PC4000
250GB WD SATA hard drive
eVGA 7800GTX video card
Antec NeoPower 480w
Silverstone TJ03 case

Lately the computer randomly locks up. It can happen in as little as a few minutes after boot, to as late as eight hours of runtime. When I leave the computer on overnight, it is almost always frozen in the morning. Often times I'll be in the middle of a game, and it will completely lock up. I've tried reinstalling the OS. The temeperatures of everything are nice and cool. The power supply is giving off stable and ample power. I don't know what to do at this point. It had run fine for three months, then just recently started doing this. When it freezes, I must manually reboot. It doesnt give me a blue screen, it wont let me ctrl alt delete. It simply freezes wherever it was and doesn't budge. If anyone has any ideas Id appreciate it.

I would not doubt it is your power supply. Check to see if it is actually giving out the proper voltages using a digital multi meter.

doubtful... I'd suspect your video card
or your Asus... everyone here always raves about 'em, but I've never liked 'em.

Edit: maybe try setting the timings down on your RAM and see if that helps... just a hunch.

I suspect video or MB. Just to check run memtest across your RAM just to make sure. In these situations I start swapping bits out starting with the video card and then RAM.

Hope this helps and good luck!
