Computer Random Shutoff

I recently built a new system from parts. I was careful to select high quality components and I trolled the forums to look for any reported incompatabilities. Recieved everything and assembled it with all the proper precautions.

1) Carefully assembled components using all the proper precautions.
2) Plugged computer in and powered up (posts fine).
3) While looking for windows disk computer shuts itself off.
4) Checked surge protector and plugged computer directly into wall outlet (Starts to post and 2-30 seconds later powers off)
5) Tried a different outlet with same results.
6) Removed HD, CD-ROM, Floppy from computer (still powers off)
7) Removed video card (still powers off)
8) Removed ram (still powers off)
10) Removed CPU... ONLY component connected to power is motherboard with nothing plugged in... stays on fine.
11) Replaced all components... stays powered on fine.
12) Ran memtest86 for 12 hours... NO ERRORS
13) Ran prime95 in torture test mode for a few hours, no errors although the CPU does reach a loaded tempurate of 56C. Processor seems to idle at around 42C. (Chipset is steady at 30C). -Temps according to BIOS-
14) Checked voltages:
vcore (seems stable at 1.4V)
3.3V = 3.31V
5V = 4.99V
12V = 11.84V
-All voltages are according to BIOS-

15) Installed windows with no problems.
16) Trying to figure out WHAT HAPPENED?

System Specs:
Coolermaster AMMO 533
Fortron (FSP Group) AX450 PSU (3.3V 30a, 5V 28a, 12V1 18a, 12V2 18a according to label) 450W.
AMD Athlon64 3200+ (Venice)
Asus A8N SLI Premium (Latest BIOS 1009)
2GB OCZ EL Platnium
EVGA 7800GT 256mb Copper Edition
1, coolermaster 120mm Fan front air intake
1, antec 120mm Fan rear exhaust

Does anyone have any suggestions? I'd prefer not to RMA more then I need to, but I don't want to be sitting on an potential time bomb.

Any suggestions or help appreciated.

Could have been a short in the case. Maybe something wasn't seated properly and replacing them all fixed it. No way of telling. If everything is working fine now, I would lean towards something not seated properly, but I wouldn't worry too much. It's not really going to explode on ya 😛
