Computer Problems

Recently, i decided to build myself a computer, so i went out and bought myself:
K7S5A Motherboard
AMD 1.2Ghz Athlon
Sparkle Geforce2 MX 32Mb
Netgear Network Card
and a case that the shop advised

then with parts out of my Compaq Presario 7482 (DVD-Rom, 15Gb HD, 128mb PC100, Compaq Mv520 Monitor) i procedeed to set my new computer up. After plugging everything in, it would'nt boot up to start with, but every now and then it would suddenly decide to boot(when i say wouldnt boot, i mean fan, lights, HD come on but no signal to my monitor). After awhile i started again piece by piece, and found out it was all fine until i put my Network card in. Fine i could live without the internet until i found a way round this. So i started to use my computer a little, but was still getting the odd non-boot. After i was kinda happy with the system i installed Final Fantasy 7, but when i went to play it the monitor just dies as if on standby. So i decided to try some other games, Black and White, Rainbow 6, Championship Manager 00/01.... ah it works.... the only game it will work with though. I tried a couple of other games but got the same problem again. Ive got all the latest drivers for my hardware plus ive tried directx 7 and 8. If anyone has got any ideas how to overcome this please let me know, Thx

Im not completely sure, i was thinking it could be the power but as it and the case was advised, the idea kinda got pushed to the back of my mind. Ill go find out now, but if anyone else has any suggestions please contribute them!
