Computer problems!

Hi all :) I have a weird computer problem and I am not sure what it is.

About 3 months ago, I made the very stupid decision to clean out my computer using a vacuum extension and brush. After doing so, the computer started acting funny.

I turned on the computer and it prompted me to insert the startup disk to reformat (oh no!)

So I cleared CMOS, following instructions carefully, and the problem seemed to go away.

But now, when I turn on the computer, it will often cycle power 3-4 times before finally engaging, and also even more often, it will hang indefinitely until I jiggle the HDMI cable where it connects to the port on the motherboard. Lastly, it has also twice given me the blue screen of death, but I have simply rebooted the computer and the problem seemed to fix itself.

Any idea what is going on exactly? I am thinking the motherboard is trashed.

The board is a DFI lanparty P35.

You might have pulled something loose with the vacuum. Make sure that all of the connections are tight.

It's bad to use ordinary vacuum cleaners on computers. The reason is, they generate static electricity, which is toxic to computer components.
