For some odd reason my PC takes FOREVER to resolve names using Windows File SHaring while everyones loads up very quickly. Once they are resolved it is fine

Anyone experienced this before? I am using a 3com card by the way and have used to 2 others but still encounter this error?


Also, I am trying to share with a rommate who has a MAC. EVerything is configured on his end but I still can't see his PC in Network neighborhood.

I also tried smb://Ip address and smb://computers name and tried ''run'' 'ing them as well to no avail.
