Computer Problem

Recently my computer reboots after Windows is loaded and then I get no signal from the monitor. Actually I don't know if it restarted, but I assume it restarted b/c my screen blanked out. Occassionally, after my screen blanks out, I get this beeping noise from the computer. I figure it may be an overheating issue so I took off the side panels and set a fan (those big ones) next to it blowing at HIGH speed. Then it works again, but my computer still sometimes reboots after I get back to Windows, especially when I click on "My Computer."
Any idea or comments?

Like the others have said we need some more specs...

Just a thought though, you might want to check to see if your heatsink is making good contact with your processor. If it isn't fix it..lol :) If it is put a new coat of thermal grease on there and see if that does anything.

Sorry for the lack of info. Here are my specs:
-------------------------------------------------
Pentiun II 450 Mhz
Asus P2B Motherboard
Generic 128 MB PC-100 SDRAM
WD 10 GB
IBM 8 GB
Windows 98
32X CD-ROM
Adaptec 2930??? (SCSI II) UltraFast SCSI
SyQuest SyJet
-------------------------------------------------

I have my computer for about a year and a half. My computer has be going very slow on me lately. Also, I have a little difficulty accessing my SyJet. I'm not if it's a candidate for the cause of the problem or is it a victim. Any ideas, or ask me more questions if you need more info.
