What brand is your motherboard and what Wattage PSU? Also have you had problems in the past? and is your mouse USB or not.

The mouse might not be working because for some reason your computer is not recognizing it in the hardware... So you might have to be tricky on your keyboard or buy a USB plug that can go into the back of your computer to make it a normal plug, one of those came with mine. May I ask what monitor your using? and how old it is.

And also you might have it plugged into a "dead" USB Port one that isn't connected to you motherboard VIA Power Cables, LEDs. But I'm guessing ur smarter then that.

Does your Monitor say: "Video Cables Connected?" when you turn it on or is it just dark? If it does, try taking all your parts out and putting your computer back together making sure everythings in the right spot (Almost guaranteed to work if it's not a hardware issue.) If that doesn't work try swapping PSU's. If that doesn't work try resetting the CMOS (Little battery on your motherboard) If that doesn't work try reformatting. And as a last resort (BUY A VIDEO CARD) That's all I can think of, do it in those steps. Reformatting is a last resort.

Believe it or not... I just had this problem and I did all the steps I just told you and now my computer works. So I almost guarantee you it's one of those problems. Or you have a bad monitor but I doubt that or it wouldn't display.

OR! a bad motherboard or the intergrated graphics on your motherboard isn't working for some odd reason motherboard seem to be the core to a lot of issue's these days.

A dead CPU could be a possability... But I'm ruling that out ATM because you don't really wanna RMA all your parts do ya?

I can't stress enough how carful you should be with the motherboard battery. It may seem strong but the battery clip breaks off the motherboard is useless. So just be easy with your parts.

I wouldn't jump to conclusions... Try what I said first and it most likly will work, somtimes power can be recognized in a computer and not another, so taking everything out and putting it back in will help. My Handle on AIM is ExitWounds313 if you want more help.
