computer problem. HELP!

Case: Rosewill Challenger

CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition

Video Card: EVGA GTS 450

Ram: CORSAIR XMS3 4GB (2 x 2GB)

Mobo: GIGABYTE 880GA-UD3H

PSU: OCZ OCZ600SXS2 StealthXStream 2 600W

Hard Drive: WD Caviar 500GB Serial ATA HD 7200/16MB/SATA-3G

CD Drive: Asus DRW-24B1ST 24X Internal DVD Burner
 
i turn on my computer, everything loads very slowly.
then the computer freezes or sometimes the screen goes black.( monitor light turns orange when blue means its on)
i restart the computer but the screen continues to stay black (monitor light stays orange instead of the normal blue)

please help!
 
Did you try plugging the monitor into the o/b VGA instead of the video card? It'll take awhile to get a video signal after you do this while the system searches for the original drivers, its worth a shot.
