Although i think that this is as good as this is going to get, im coming to you. Dont suggest athlon as i dont build athlons for clients for various reasons which i wont say. i'm trying to find these parts in the F/S Forum

this is a freshman entering college that just needs a mp3\ internet\ occasional gamer computer that can last a modest 2 years. hmm, p4, but rdram is way to expensive to hit 512. perhaps... 256 is enough.. for general use...

P4 1.4 Ghz Retail - for warranty and hsf - where to buy?
2x128 RDRAM PC800 - wahts a good brand? samsung? where?
Asus P4T - newegg? $189?
Santa Cruz due to GTXP problems - where?
GF2 Pro 64 - where?
Plex 12x-16x or equivalent brand - newegg?
Pioneer DVD slot - newegg?
fasttrak 100 and [2] 75gxp - already have
intel or realtek chipset nic - where?
modem - where?
case is sx1030b - thinking ems.

ok. what am i missing? i need this under 1400 if at all possible.

does the santa cruz have the same problems with eax as the gtxp? if so, i have to creative then.
