i was selling one of my desktops to this guy, and i switched CPU fans, memory, and vid card but now when i turn it on i get a sudden quick beep anyone kno what this means
 
It's hard to say which one coz every manufacturer has their own beep codes. Consult your mobo manual or swithc back the original peripherals and swithc them one at a time to find out which one causes the beep.
 
well, i tried another stick of memory and it worked- im gonna RMA the memory weird cuz i think the memory works jus not compatible w/ the k8n neo plat. ill try it on my neo2 plat to see if that works but its a mushkin enhanced value stick and my mushkin 222 special works fine i thought it was a brand thing- i guess not
 
blah, i reset the cmos and it works i guess for some reason when timings are set high or something the lower grade memory doesnt work until you reset the cmos
