This deal requires using hotdeals and ocing. However, there are many resources available with this chip and the 7900gs videocard since they are embraced by the OC community. Zzf=zipzoomfly

$480 total (with $100 videocard dollar card.)
Keyboard <$20: wired keyboard with decent keys. Wireless is not good for gaming dealing with batteries and latency.
Mouse: $20-30 Don?t buy in to high performance laser mouse. Professional FPS know better and use certain mouse (optical has been better) unless they are getting paid to say something else. Just because a mouse is marketed as high performance gaming doesn?t make it so. Interestingly the more expensive mice have been worse than just a standard optical for low-res gamers. Google it.

I see a lot of builds on these forums, and I notice that people seem to be spending too much. I strongly disagree with getting top of the line equipment since it?s infinitely better to go economic choice every 1-2 years than buy a high end every 2-4 years. It?s been my observation that computers advance in plateaus, e.g., new cpu architecture. When a new plateau is reached Intel and Amd will market multiple lines of it, but in reality, the most economic chip is almost same as the priciest chip, just downclocked.
I?ve made this mistake and regretted it when I bought the 6800 gt (2004) $340ish, and my cousin got the 6600 gt $120ish (same cpu). His 6600 gt overclocked really well while mine could OC very little. Basically I couldn?t tell the difference between the two machines running BF2. And now both those videocards are totally outdated.
