So like most of you I have tons of spare parts, screws, tools, pastes, directions, pins, and everything else that goes along with building and maintaining computers. Unfortunately, that stuff is all over my apartment. When I need something it takes forever.

Is there a good unit for organizing this stuff that isn't a tool chest or one of those $30 crapplastic drawer systems at target(screws and small parts do not do well in these).

thanks

I use a few of those small white boxes that newegg ships parts in to sort my various parts. Screws & etc go into bags in one box, USB cables in another, adapters in another, etc. Label the boxes for easy reference and you'll have a much easier time finding stuff.

I use shoeboxes, and old motherboard boxes to store stuff. I throw ethernet and power cable bunches into one of those $1 reusable grocery bags. It's cheap and it works.
