Newegg just sent me the wrong color floppy, but after shipping, restocking, and return shipping, it will be hardly worth the price I paid for the drive to RMA it. anybody know of a good (and permanent) way to paint the front bezel? What brand? Also, I want to get that ugly grey metal inside my case painted. I was thinking spray paint.... Suggestions?

we have a cases and cooling forum. the ugly grey metal is gavanized steel (zinc coated)... spray over the zinc, dont remove it. the zinc is harmful if you breath it in as dust. if you spray too much, you wont be able to get the panels back on.

For the drive bezel I would use some Plastikote Vinyl Dye. They sell it at most hardware stores and it gives that non "I just tagged up my bezel" look. It's more of a professional finish.

Another vote for the vinyl dye. Sprays on like paint, dyes like... dye. :) I bought mine @ Advance Auto. I used the flat black color and it matches very well.

They do have an online store through Parts America, but you might try any local auto parts store. It'll be near the paints and/or upholstery repair sections. Walmart has also been known to carry it, though I've not seen it at the ones I frequent. It's cheap, about $3 a can, which is plenty to do a boatload of faceplates.

Yeah I will have to take a look. I wonder, does anyone have a specific color recommendation for the Antec 1080? Something they have used that has matched up well?
