computer on two subnets

two network cards, manually configured

one on 192.168.1.* and one on 192.168.16.*

the 1.* network has internet access, the 16.* does not

i could browse both network fine, and the internet, until yesterday, when the internet just stopped working

i disabled the 16.* adapter and the internet comes back immediately. reenable and internet dies again. any ideas why?

you don't have two default gateways configured do you? What are the subnet masks?

two default gateways is normally the problem with more than one NIC. That's not supported.
