Computer not working, help

I just bought an Athlon XP 2500+ with GeXcube 9600xp 128mb video card and 256mb RAM. I've just loaded on Windows XP and I was moving some files out of a ZIP file onto the dekstop. The computer froze and then just turned itself off, and I havent been able to turn it back on.

Any ideas?

remove and reseat all the parts inside your PC to rule out bad connections.

Do you hear fans spinning when you try to turn your PC on? Do you get any post beeps? 1 or more?

Need more info on your rig. Be specific right down to your power supply wattage.

agreed. You did take the tape off of the bottom of your heatsink, right?
