computer not booting, Dead motherboard?

ic7 max3, took my computer a part completely (changing case)
after putting them back together, it doesn't boot up.
It powers up everything, fans, lights all come on but nothing on the screen.
I have another spare mother board so i moved the parts on to that board and it boots fine
I've tried CMOS jumper, removing bettery but still nothing.
any idea?

Check for a grounding problem on the old motherboard (see if when you install it that it isn't grounding to the new case in anyway). Check to make sure the RAM and AGP card especially are firmly secured in their slots. I have a machine that does this from time to time, but if I restart it a couple of times it boots.
