Requirements:
Processing of captured images (stills taken once every ~30 seconds), calculations using matlab, construction of a localized map, neural network processing for optimization of route. Constrained to use Windows, no way around this. Needs to be fast
. HD size 20 - 40 GB.
this is all just a rough sketch, but I need some information.
Will a dual processor setup be much more beneficial in this case? Will performance on the dual proc machine rely heavily on the software, such as Matlab and the software for image processing? If so will it still outperform a uniprocessor setup? Please recommend MOBO, CPU, MEM, HD(s).
Otherwise please recommend a single processor setup, MOBO CPU MEM HD(s)
