Computer Making Constant Shrill, High Pitched Noise

After I moved to a new apartment, I've noticed my computer making a constant, extremely high pitched noise. It makes me want to limit my time on the PC (which may not be such a bad thing ). Still I can't figure out what exactly is causing it. Is it the hard drive, or one of the case fans?

I have a computer that was built by ABS Computer. It has a 500W power supply and presumably many case fans inside. The sound is so high pitched that my friend was not able to hear it, but I can hear it and it bothers me.

More than likely you dislodged dust from the machine , and it got into one of the fan bearings.
Get a can of compressed air. and blow out thr whole machine.Follow up with WD-40 on the fans.

WD-40 is more a solvent, than an oil. Water Dispersant Type 40.
Use 3 in one.

OP, probably dirty current in your new location causing toroidal coil whine...Google it.

I've seen ("heard") some PSUs that made really high-pitched noise when plugged in... didn't even have to have the computer on ; just the PSU switch on and it made a high-pitched noise...
