computer makes the device unplugged then plugged sound

lately my computer has been making the device plug and unplug sound randomly. there are no yellow exclaimation marks in my device manager. is there anyway that i can find out whats causing it
 
if the machine has an internal card reader, or some other device that is connected by usb and see if they are showing up, could be indicating of a failing item
