For the past 2 or 3 weeks I have had a really bizarre problem. My computer locks up only when I first start it in the morning...it will lock up somewhere during the boot process, usually around where it is about ti display the XP login screen. I reset it and it works fine...sometimes I have to reset it twice, but usually once. After this it works fine all day without any problems...bizarre?? Almost like it needs to 'warm up'? Sometimes after I play bf1942 for too long it will lock up too, which is really odd since my Gainward Golden Sample Ti4200 isn't overclocked....
Here are my system specs:
Windows XP home
Athlon XP 1900+ (corev 1.89)
Thermalright AX7 with Enermax 80mm @ 2500 RPM
Gigabyte GA-7VRXP (could be the prob...has the infamous voltage prob)
SB Audigy
Gainward GF4 Ti4200 Golden Sample
Idle CPU temp is 51C, ambient temp is 40C.
Any ideas?
