I am having a problem with my computer completely locking up when playing Rogue Spear/Urban Operations. When this occurs, the screen completely freezes and a sound file continually loops. I cannot cntl-alt-delete it - the only way out is a hard reboot. There does not seem to be any correlation between occurrences, which are seemingly random. It's not the same sound file or map every time. My initial thought was an IRQ conflict, but I have eliminated all conflicts and the problem persists.
I have completely uninstalled (including cleaning the registry) and reinstalled several times, but it has no effect.
I would post my IRQ config here, but there are a ton of them and I can't figure out how to copy and paste them.
I don't think it's related, but if it's really necessary, I can type them out.
My system config is in my sig. This problem occurs in both Win2k and Win98se on this machine. Before my processor/mobo upgrade, I did not have this problem. Any ideas why this is happening or how I can fix it?
