when my friend's computer locks up... he says it gets to the motherboard splash screen and freezes up. Doesn't always happen. What he did say was that whenever he turned off the computer and also turned off the power strip... that this problem ceased to occur. could be just coincidence.
but to me it sounds like it's either the mb or the ps. any other way to tell?
