Computer Keeps freezing on games....

SETUP----

AMD AM2 3800+ X2
1024x2 Corsair DDR2-667
Windows XP Professional SP2
XFX 6600GT 8X 128MB AGP
MSI K9MM-V motherboard
Antec 380w PSU

When playing counter-strike 1.6, the computer runs fine, when playing Half-Life 2 or Guild Wars (so far only games I've tested) the PC will freeze causing me to hard reboot or just reboot on its own within a 15 minute period. At first I thought it was heating problems so I ran Speedfan and checked my BIOS/GPU programs for temps on full load... GPU = 82 full load, CPU = 54 full load. So then I figured it was my PSU because at the time I had an Antec 300w, so I bought a 380w and guess what?! still does it.. The weird thing is, older games run decent sometimes and the newer games run perfect UNTIL the reboot...

my CPU/RAM/Motherboard are BRAND NEW bought 2 days ago... can anyone help me? I have drivers etc. and have freshly formatted.

i responded to your other post.......if the video is old, then it could be the ram. not saying its bad, but maybe the board just doesnt like it.
