weird. i have the geforce 4 ti4200 64mb and for some reason the computer keep crashing everytime i tried to play games.

farcry, xiii, bejeweled 2, etc....

anything that use hardware acceleration i guess.

but if i'm on desktop using the computer, it never crash. funny thing is that i have the latest driver from nvidia. 81.85_forceware_winxp2k_english_whql

and direct x 9.0c.

i'm not overclocking or anything. 🙁

has it crashed before the 81.85? If not I'd go back... nothing new has been added for the GF4 for quite a bit. I have the GF Ti4200 128MB and I'm using the 61.77 drivers... seems to be about when they started working on the new FX series

Agreed, roll back to an older driver, try the 71.89 driver.

Make sure you install it properly:

SAFEMODE>UNINSTALL>REBOOT>SAFEMODE>INSTALL NEW DRIVER
