Computer issues. Recently it seems after the instillation of the ATI HDTV tuner I have been having problems. First problem came after a blue screen it automatically shut down and rebooted seems to be ok. Apron restarting it, the system could only make it to the windows boot up and would black screen on the windows wellcome screen. So I restart and it recommends a system restore in safe mode I do so and seems to fix the problem. To day when turning on my computer same thing happens can?t get past windows boot up only goes to black screen and stays there can?t get to welcome window or windows, although this time my hard drive was making clicking type noises, any who I turned it off restart recommended safe mode and system restore but I thought I would try normal and lucky it booted to windows no clicking noses from hard drive. So I either think my hard drive is going (although I don?t know how to tell) or I am having issues with the new TV tuner. Ideas? Thanks

could be a driver issue.

with ati drivers... compatiblity issues? Should I try a wiping the drivers and reinstalling?

yes, go into safe mode, uninstall the drivers through windows add/remove programs. then restart, go back into safemode, and run Drivercleaner Pro. then, install the drivers again, and reboot into normal mode. see if that does it. or, try a different driver.
