Computer isn't booting!

(I posted this in general hardware before realizing there's a computer help forum)

I built this computer about 3 months ago and it has been running fine.

This morning though it wouldn't boot. I pushed the power button and the psu/case/gpu fans turned on. A couple seconds later the cpu fan turned on (sometimes though the fan spins intermittently). However, nothing happened after that. No signal was sent to any peripherals (including the monitor) and the motherboard didn't go through the POST routine and I didn't hear any beeping (though I can';t remember if this motherboard beeps when you boot it). I found it weird that the DVD drive wasn't getting any pwoer - I couldn't open and close it.

To me this sounds like a PSU problem? This is my Rosewill PSU. It isn't super high quality but has great reviews from Newegg.

What other problem could it be?

Yeah, a PSU problem seems like the most likely explaination. If you want a nice replacement unit, Corsair and Seasonic are a couple reputable brands, or hit the PSU Forum for more ideas. If you need to buy one right away at a local store, the Seasonic-made Antec Earthwatts series might be worth a look.

Yup, definitely the psu. I unplugged everything and plugged it back in and it works now... though I had triple checked all the connections before
