Hi, I have a computer that was taken outside and cleaned with air in a can (for computers) and now doesn't work. If it doesn't accept power and has been tried in multiple outlets it has to be the power supply or MB, right? I have tested the PS on another PC and it works fine.

Is it possible the MB got hit with static? Otherwise what could it be?

Motherboard problems are hard to diagnose. I would try to reseat all the components and see what happens. I would also try to plug in as few devices as possible to the computer to see if it boots up, remove hard drives and cdrom drives, and perhaps use another cheaper video card, which requires less power.) Try using another set of memory. Try swapping out the CPU if you have it.

This happened to me one time but it could happen to you. IF your motherboard have an on and reset switch on it (not jumpers) you might want to get cables away from it.

Most probably some cable came loose. Check all the power connectors. Check if the On, Reset jumpers are connected to the wires. It could just be that the power switch isn't plugged into the mobo ;)
