Computer is doing the dumbest thing

Anyone have THIS happen???

Whenever a clip is playing in WMP10 and the player is closed, the player is completely GONE but the sound continues. Sure enough, wmplayer.exe is showing in the task mangler and the sound will stop if that is killed. If the player was playing a file within firefox (putfile site) and this happens firefox has to be killed in the TM too or it brings up the profile manager when launched. (after all windows are closed)

This is just silly.

I have that happen with firefox also, but never in IE.

Not sure why though.

Reinstal WMP10. If not, pour beer on floor!

It happens to me OCCASIONALLY. Be watching something, leave it playing. Hit the X on media player, it appears to close, sound is still going. Open media player again and the video is still playing. It doesn't happen all the time though.
