You know the little yellow triangle that comes up when the computer is trying to connect to the internet and it realizes that it has no internet connection???
I assume the way that a Windows machine determines that is by trying to connect to some website. Do we know what website it is trying to connect to??? Also do we know how?? Is it a ping or what?
I ask because I have a computer that is completely locked down from the internet except for about 5 websites, and when it comes up it says it has no access to the internet. I want to allow access to whatever site windows is using to determine that. I figured it would be a microsoft.com website, but that isn't working.
Any ideas?
