Computer interferes with Radio

I just set up a new home stereo in my computer room. When the computer is turned off the radio works fine but when I turn on the computer I get a little fuzz. And then if I log into Win2K I get only interference. But when I log into WinME, BeOS or Linux I have no problems. What could be causing this and is there any way to fix it? And why would there be a difference between Win2K and other OS's?

That's bizarre, that the different os's have different interferance.

I've noticed that when sound is playing through my SBLive I get extra fuzz on my cordless phone when close to my PC. (I use the digital connection from the SBLive to my FPS2000 speakers).
