Computer Installing Installed Software On Startup

When I boot into windows for some reason a Nero Install Application runs by itself...Nero is already installed though, how can I disable it from starting up?

I'm assuming you have windows XP.

First check your startup folder in the start menu to see if it's there.

If not then go to Start -> Run, type msconfig. One of the tabs across says startup or boot, it's towards the right side. Click on it then look at the entries listed. By removing the check box beside an item it will not load on boot.

Been there done that. Nothing seems suspicious in startup and msconfig. I'll check again later though...any other suggestions?
